Changemaker Showcase

Wondering what grows from the intersection of creativity and food? Join the Design for Good Changemaker teams as we showcase and celebrate the results of the Changemaker Series!

Over the past few months, diverse volunteer design-thinking teams have used their superpowers by collaborating with local nonprofits on projects to enact social change addressing local food challenges. These include causes such as promoting access to fresh produce and healthy foods to low-income households, advocating domestic fair trade principles in the community, and empowering food entrepreneurs from immigrant communities in the hopes of creating a lasting ethnic street food market in Seattle.

Celebrate the teams’ successes over some wine, beer, and noshes.

Check out the project showcase to see their design-oriented processes, valuable lessons learned, meaningful results and next steps for driving positive change in our community.

Meet other creatives, win a prize in our Pour Back raffle.
