Designing between the lines means looking past what’s in front of you and finding power in the unexpected. AIGA Into the Woods 2016 celebrates provocative ideas, integrative thinking, and boundary-defying design.
In April 2016, this legendary conference is back, with three days of keynote presentations, hands-on workshops, and backwoods creative bonding at Sleeping Lady Mountain Resort in Leavenworth, Washington.
Insightful speakers, nightly parties, and facetime with people making change in their industry…Into the Woods Design Conference brings together top creative teams for an immersive, backwoods retreat, and leverages the unique contributions of every guest for lively exchanges and cross-pollination among different perspectives, fields, and sets of expertise.
Keynote: Louise Fili is director of Louise Fili Ltd, a New York City design firm specializing in brand development for restaurants and food packaging.
Keynote: James White is an illustrator, designer and musician from Signalnoise Studio in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
Workshop run in 2 tracks: professional development and creative inspiration. Workshops tentatively to be led by: Amy Redmond, Ted Leonhardt, Laura Worthington, Adobe Mobile Apps Team, David Kendall, Jeni Herberger and more.

Registration Fee = $850
Due to intimate mountain campus of the Sleeping Lady, Into the Woods is limited to 120 total attendees (including all Speakers, conference staff, and volunteers). Conference registration fees include all events, workshops, lodging and gourmet meals.
What’s Included
Your conference registration includes admission to all keynote presentations, 3 hands on workshops, and all evening events, including the Opening Night Reception, and Saturday night’s Party. Most importantly, your fee includes your Room & Board. All Sleeping Lady lodging and meals are included in your registration fee. Your ancillary purchases at the Bar/Gift Shop are of course, on your own tab.
