Ladies, this one is for you! AIGA Seattle’s Women Lead Initiative has crafted quarterly networking events for 2018 to help you support and learn from your fellow female creatives! This casual event will kick off on International Women's Day, Thursday, March 8, 2018 at DEI Creative on Capitol Hill. To help break the ice, each Women Lead Happy Hour will feature a theme — the first being GRIT. Join us with a story to share about courage or strength of character!

Each ticket purchase includes light appetizers and two drinks.

About the AIGA Women Lead Initiative

AIGA Seattle’s Women Lead Initiative (WLI) aims to educate, inspire, and empower women (including trans women, genderqueer women, and non-binary people who are significantly female-identified) in design-related fields, and advance the vital discourse on issues facing professional women today. WLI programs are designed to address persistent biases and inequities inclusively and constructively around three main goals:

• To celebrate the achievements of women in design

• To cultivate awareness of gender-related issues while building knowledge and leadership skills

• To connect women by facilitating relationships within and beyond the design industry
