It’s All About The Money, Money, Money (Part 1)

AWC kicks off the new year with a two-part series on financial planning and money management. January focuses on financial planning from a woman's perspective. We finish the two-part series on February 16 with financial advisors Alexa Meyer and Alyssa Jarman of the Women's Resource Group who specialize in walking women through the various stage of financial life and will focus on financial planning for entrepreneurs, single business owners, freelancers and independent consultants. More details on February will be provided later.

On January 10, join Priya Sathy, Principal Program Manager for Microsoft, as she discusses her career path through various startups and Microsoft, in conjunction with Merrill Lynch's wealth management platform. She will discuss her experience as a woman in tech, her perspective on how the industry has changed, and where she sees potential growth for women in the industry. She also plans to speak briefly about her current work in machine learning.

She will be joined by her wealth management team (Nic Lane and Robert Campbell, Merrill Lynch) who will discuss their experience with Priya and financial planning from a woman’s perspective – navigating the corporate benefits structure and leveraging resources to make savvy financial decisions. Taking a goals-based wealth management approach to making sure those benefits support significant life events such as child care, college planning, and retirement.
