Negotiating Your Potential: A WLI Workshop

Negotiating your Potential

Join AIGA Seattle and Ted Leonhardt, in partnership with General Assembly, for an evening of intimate conversations and creative solutions related to design professionals negotiating their salary. Led by Ted, this lecture + workshop will be an evening dedicated to discussing, identifying, and discovering for yourself, actionable and empowering solutions for your next salary negotiation.

During the first part of the evening, Ted will introduce scenarios and issues specific to creatives, in addition to role playing. We will also share our own stories of negotiating our worth. Following a mini break, attendees will get into groups to discuss and practice techniques to strengthen and gain confidence in negotiating. Should time allow, there will also be a group film clip analysis.

For this event, bring a story of your own salary negotiation, and also bring a tangible piece of work you are proud of, e.g. a photo, article, etc.

Light refreshments and food will be provided. Men are invited and encouraged to participate.
