Visual Design In A Digital World
Visual design is everywhere in our daily lives. Yet much of it is increasingly found on digital form factors which don’t necessarily follow the tenets of traditional graphic design.
This one hour moderated panel will explore the shifting landscape of what it means to be a visual designer in today’s tech-centric world. Topics will range from the evolution of print design to more dynamic mediums, the adaptation of requisite skill sets, and how we’ve moved from skeumorphism to a flat aesthetic to whatever trend might come next.
The panelists:
Jennifer Sukis - Creative Director at Substantial
Matt Brown - Senior Visual Designer at Google
Jenny Lam - Co-Founder at Jackson Fish Market
Eric Lawrence - Associate Creative Director at frog
