Anne Traver is a graphic designer, brand strategist, educator, ceramist and entrepreneur. Anne started a freelance practice right after graduating from the UW design program and over a period of 20 years grew it into a 12-person design firm working with clients in arts and culture, non-profit and human services, and the hospitality and tourism industry. In 2000 she merged her studio with Methodologie and with her partners grew that firm into a leading brand and design firm providing corporate communications to national clients from Coca-Cola to Accenture and the MacArthur Foundation. Anne sold her share of Methodologie in 2010 and is now dividing her time between brand consulting and design, teaching in the design program at the University of Washington and making things with clay. She also chairs the UW School of Art Advisory Board and is on the board of the Henry Art Gallery.
